Rick McGregor, HBA, CA

Mr. McGregor has over 30 years experience in the financial and computer areas. While running his own public accounting practice, he worked with all types of businesses and performed computer selection, installation and training for many clients. As CFO of companies in the Caribbean and United States he was responsible for the selection, installation and training of new accounting systems along with the normal financial reporting functions of a CFO.

Rick brings a true entrepreneurial experience to the company and the skill sets required for the installation, training and customization of the management system to meet each individual clubs requirements.


Dave Hodgson BCOM, Golf Management Diploma

Mr. Hodgson brings 24 years experience in the golf industry to the Synergy Golf Solutions Team. His most recent experience includes two years as General Manager of Mayfair Lakes G & CC, a partner of GolfBC in Vancouver, and the first Canadian installation of the Inforemer in Canada.

Prior to GolfBC, Dave worked over six years with Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club, his last season as the Asst Director of Golf. It was with Fairmont Hotels and Resorts where Dave participated in the first installation of GPS in Canada. In total Dave possesses seven years experience managing golf courses with GPS solutions.

Mr. Hodgson currently sits on the Selkirk College Industry Advisory Board, the Advisory Board for GPS Industries, was a member of the BC PGA Board of Directors from 2000 - 2003, and the Editorial Advisory Committee for the Manager Quarterly publication of the CSCM.

With knowledge in operations of Private, Semi-Private, Resort, and Corporate, Public, and Privately Owned golf courses, Dave believes the Inforemer® product is changing the business and game of golf.

Dave looks forward to building strategic partnerships with courses seeking incremental revenues, unique golf experiences, and the desire to lead the game of golf.


Shannon Hodgson, BESc

Shannon Hodgson is a graduate from the Chemical Engineering Department of the University of Western Ontario. As a Process Engineer for Celestica of Toronto, Shannon was responsible for all on-line barcode computer and printing stations including procurement, installation, maintenance, training and software/database management. For the past three years, Shannon worked as a Research Engineer for Ballard Power Systems testing and developing zero-emission proton exchange membrane fuel cells with the focus of enhancing performance and reducing cost.

Shannon has a strong technical background with the communication skills required for both training and customer service.
